Sharing With Family

You can share insights with other family members. Sharing is always based on your loved one’s consent.

Family recipients are for ongoing updates. They can receive weekly summaries by email and alert updates by email, SMS, or both.

Trusted contacts are different. They are managed in a line's Contacts section and are used for urgent safety SMS outreach only.

Enable Sharing First

Go to the Privacy Center and turn on Family Sharing. You must enable this before inviting anyone.

Add Family Recipients

1. Go to Privacy Center → Family Recipients
2. Click Invite Recipient
3. Enter their name and email
4. Choose how alerts should be delivered
5. Add a phone number if you want SMS alerts
6. Send the invite

You can add up to 5 recipients.

What Family Recipients Receive

• Weekly summaries by email
• Family alert updates by email, SMS, or both
• Optional dashboard access if you grant it

Family recipients are best for people who should stay informed over time.

When to Use Trusted Contacts Instead

Use trusted contacts when someone should only be contacted for urgent safety situations.

• Trusted contacts receive SMS only
• Trusted contacts are used for high-severity safety outreach
• Trusted contacts do not receive weekly summaries or regular family updates

Sharing Tiers

• Tier 1: Safety alerts and call stats
• Tier 2: Adds mood trends
• Tier 3: Adds conversation topics
• Tier 4: Adds concerns and relationships

How Preferences Are Set

Sharing preferences are captured during calls. Your loved one can choose or change their level at any time.

Request a Change

If you need an update, request a sharing change in the Privacy Center. Ultaura will ask your loved one on the next call.
